Volunteer – Library (Hemet, CA)
All volunteer opportunities are unpaid. Volunteers are an integral part of the City of Hemet, contributing to community quality of life.
Volunteer Opportunities- Answering telephone calls and directing citizen inquiries
- Performing clerical duties
- Planning and assisting in community event projects
- Providing assistance in the Public Library
- Adult literacy tutoring (for adults)
Volunteers will support library staff and library operations, assist patrons, help with events, provide assistance in the library, and may conduct adult literacy tutoring.
Qualifications- Reliability – dependable and regular attendance
- Willingness to work as a team player
- Positive attitude
All volunteers must submit a life‑scan print to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for clearance. Required documents must be submitted with the application. Volunteers must be available for unpaid positions.
