Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (4/10-hour shifts)
The Shop Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing shift employees, coordinating daily shop operations, and ensuring compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This position plays a key leadership role in supporting efficient shop performance and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities- Trains, mentors, and manages production employees on the assigned shift.
- Oversees daily workflow, job assignments, and project priorities.
- Conducts and documents regular performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback.
- Promotes teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company policies.
- Oversees all production operations during assigned shifts to ensure on-time, high-quality output.
- Prepares and maintains work schedules to support efficient operations and coverage.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of shop processes, tools, and equipment.
- Ensures products are properly identified, weighed, staged, and warehoused according to specifications.
- Troubleshoots operational and production issues as they arise and resolves them promptly.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Department regarding equipment issues or downtime.
- Enforces compliance with all applicable safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Reviews and signs off on required documentation, logs, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintains clear communication with management, project coordinators, and other departments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support company goals.

- Strong understanding of or ability to quickly learn production operations and shop machinery.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or related software for reports and logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior exceptional work experience within Canyon Spring Enterprises or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in a production or fabrication setting strongly desired.
- Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of the production facility.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to stand, bend, or move for extended periods during the workday.

CompensationPay Range: $45,000.00 – $83,200.00 annually (non-exempt; eligible for overtime)
