Blaster​/Coater - Day Shift

Job Title

Blaster/Coater – Day Shift – McCrometer (Veralto) – Hemet, CA.

Onsite role, part of the Manufacturing & Operations team.

Hemet, CA – Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm PT. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Indoor industrial setting with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and low‑to‑moderate noise levels. Required PPE includes supplied air respirator, half‑mask respirator, hearing protection (foam plugs or earmuffs) at all times, gloves, safety shoes with metatarsal protection, safety glasses, cooling vest, body harness for fall protection and head coverings.

Prepares metal surfaces for epoxy coating or paint, applies coating/paint to specified standard, bakes to harden finish or dries/cures parts to specifications.

• Operate sandblasting machines to remove scale, flux, corrosion, and dirt using abrasives and compressed air; use SAR respirator.
• Operate powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material.
• Use hand tools, hoist/crane, power tools, and pneumatic tools as part of the process.
• Brush, spray, or dip parts in coating vehicles.
• Bake coated parts in oven for pre‑heat and hardening; dry/cure parts per specifications.
• Identify and report defective parts.
• Pre‑inspect work area for safety.
• Observe and follow all safety regulations and company policies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience painting metal parts or components (asset).
• Safely operated powered industrial trucks (forklifts).
• Excellent communication skills with ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, specifications, blueprints, or sketches.
• Skilled in operating hand tools, hoist/crane, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
• Quality conscious with ability to meet efficiency goals.
• Detail‑oriented and able to maintain accuracy on all work activities.
• Ability to work positively with associates within cell areas and develop strong relationships across teams and subject areas.

Compensation range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour.
