If yes, here’s how you will contribute to the team:
As a QA Nurse (LPN/LVN), you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving clinical systems within the Skilled Nursing Facility to ensure regulatory compliance, high-quality resident care, and accurate documentation.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Review care plans to ensure alignment with physician orders and resident condition.
- Monitor Medicare/Medicaid documentation requirements and reimbursement-related compliance.
- Audit high-risk areas including falls, wounds, infections, weights, restraints, and psychotropic medications.
- Participate in and help lead QAPI meetings.
- Identify trends through data tracking and reporting.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans.
- Monitor outcomes of corrective actions and process changes.
Must Have:
- Successfully graduated from an approved and certified LVN program.
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as an LVN in the state.
- Ability to make quick judgments and work independently.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
Nice to Have:
- 2 years of experience as an LVN/LPN.
- Active patient or bedside care experience within the past three years.
