System Engineer

An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm are looking for a System Engineer

The System Engineer will support the design and development of RF-microwave synthesizer and synchronization hardware for military and space programs.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of RF-microwave synthesizer and synchronization hardware for military and space programs.
• Managing all technical aspects of design, development, and production of high reliability systems with emphasis on organizing system-level performance requirements allocation and decomposition activities.
• Managing requirements verification and validation efforts through the entire product development and build lifecycle.
• Must coordinate the design/development activities of a variety of separate engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, thermal, radiation, component, and manufacturing.
• Be able to coordinate test activities relating to product level qualification and acceptance testing.

Education and Required Skills:

• BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) with at least 5 years of experience is required
• Familiarity with EEE parts selection, screening, and nuclear radiation requirements such as NASA EEE-INST-002, is preferred.
