Park Manager

Full-Time Seasonal | April-November

Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures is seeking an energetic, outgoing, detail-oriented, and hands-on individual to serve as Park Manager.

The Park Manager is responsible for the overall daily operation of Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures, including the Zipline Canopy Tour, Aerial Adventure Park, Kids Adventure Park, Mobile Park, Climbing Wall, The Launch, and other park activities and attractions. The Park Manager will report directly to the Management Team regarding daily operations, staffing, maintenance, safety, guest service, sales, and financial performance.

This is an active working management position that requires the Park Manager to lead employees, oversee park operations, coordinate maintenance, support sales and marketing initiatives, and assist throughout the park as needed. The Park Manager is responsible for ensuring that all attractions, equipment, facilities, and guest service areas are prepared for safe, efficient, and professional daily operation.

Responsibilities Include Park Operations and Leadership

Oversee the overall daily operation of Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures and all park attractions.

Manage staff and quickly adjust staffing levels based on reservations, group business, weather forecasts, park capacity, and anticipated attendance.

Recruit, interview, hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate seasonal employees.

Develop and manage employee schedules to ensure attractions and guest service areas are appropriately staffed.

Coordinate employee training needs and schedules with the individual responsible for the park's technical training program.

Promote a positive, professional, and safety-focused culture among employees and guests.

Lead by example and perform the duties of other park positions when necessary.

Monitor weather conditions, reservations, staffing, and park capacity throughout the day.

Make operational decisions regarding attraction openings, delays, closures, staffing adjustments, and guest accommodations.

Ensure the park follows applicable company policies, manufacturer requirements, ACCT standards, and New York State Department of Labor regulations.

Respond appropriately to employee concerns, and guest service issues.

Communicate regularly with the Management Team regarding park operations, staffing, attendance, sales, incidents, maintenance, and other operational needs.

Maintenance and Park Readiness

Oversee daily inspections, maintenance, documentation, and readiness of all park attractions and equipment.

Ensure required daily inspections are completed and properly recorded before attractions open.

Perform and oversee routine maintenance on adventure park courses, ziplines, climbing elements, equipment, buildings, grounds, and other park facilities.

Maintain equipment used in park operations, including harnesses, helmets, trolleys, rescue equipment, carabiners, and related components.

Identify maintenance concerns and determine whether repairs can be completed internally or require assistance from a qualified vendor or third party.

Coordinate repairs, inspections, and maintenance projects with outside contractors, inspectors, manufacturers, and vendors.

Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable regulations.

Maintain organized inspection, repair, maintenance, and equipment records.

Monitor the condition and inventory of tools, replacement components, personal protective equipment, and operational supplies.

Assist with course construction, improvements, equipment installation, and other park projects.

Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules for attractions, equipment, facilities, and grounds.

Coordinate preseason preparation, park opening, postseason closing, winterization, and off-season maintenance projects.

Communicate attraction or equipment concerns promptly to the Management Team and remove equipment or attractions from service when necessary.

Work at height and perform hands-on maintenance duties when trained, qualified, and authorized to do so.

Reservations, Sales, and Group Coordination

Oversee reservations, point-of-sale systems, waivers, guest check-in, payments, and other software required for park operations.

Manage incoming telephone and email inquiries from individuals, families, schools, camps, scouts, corporate groups, and other organizations.

Support inside sales by answering questions, recommending appropriate activities, following up on inquiries, and converting prospective business into reservations.

Serve as the primary liaison between park operations and the Group Sales team.

Coordinate group schedules, arrival information, participant counts, payments, special requests, staffing, and operational requirements.

Communicate upcoming group visits and their needs to park staff and other departments.
