Job SummaryThe Office Administrator greets visitors, answers phones, maintains records, provides documentation to the Corporate Office, and offers additional support to other departments as directed by the Office Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Manage and/or perform functions of plant office: accounts payable, sales, payroll, local HR functions, personnel records, safety program record keeping, fleet performance and inventory records, product quality, and general clerical duties of operations; serve as liaison with Corporate Office on administrative matters.
- Maintain proper flow of information from plant to Corporate Office in compliance with laws, regulations, and procedures; maintain required records and office supplies and equipment.
- Operate personal computer system for storing, processing, and transferring data to Corporate Office and for other word‑processing purposes.
- In larger operations, supervise clerical staff in data entry, reception, and other clerical support activities; in smaller operations, perform all tasks associated with the plant office.
- Be familiar with and observe all company safety rules and regulations; attend regular safety meetings.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior office experience.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (strong preference).
- College degree or coursework preferred.
- Detail oriented; highly organized.
- Ability to work well with internal staff and external customers.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑starter; self‑motivated.
- Pleasant demeanor in dealing with visitors and receiving phone calls.
- Good math and computer skills.
