Working 185 days for the 2026-27 school year.

Salary commensurate with years of teaching experience and rank.

This position is teaching in an elementary school classroom due to population and need.

Employment Requirements: Physical exam, TB Risk Assessment, state/national criminal background check, CAN check and drug screen.

• Show understanding and concern for the academic and social welfare of students.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom conducive to learning.
• Direct student learning at a rate commensurate with each student's capability.
• Assist students in making up missed work due to legitimate absences.
• Use only acceptable discipline methods in compliance with board and school policies.
• Strive to understand all sides of a problem before administering discipline.
• Set an example before pupils and avoid prejudice against individuals or minority groups.
• Welcome opportunities to discuss with parents/guardians open-mindedly and courteously about students' problems or progress.
• Respect parents/guardians' rights regarding students' welfare and development.
• Maintain high standards of conduct and attitudes to keep the profession respectful and dignified.
• Take advantage of opportunities to upgrade professional skills through committees, workshops, and organizations.
• Accept outside employment only when it does not interfere with professional duties or status with pupils or colleagues.
