Physical Therapist (Pediatrics + Inpatient) – Progressive Health of Indiana, LLC – Henderson, KY
Are you a Physical Therapist looking for a role that combines pediatric care with hospital-based inpatient experience in a dynamic, team-focused environment?
We have a unique full-time opportunity at Deaconess Henderson that combines pediatric outpatient care with acute/inpatient rehabilitation services. This role allows you to treat a diverse patient population while expanding your clinical skillset across settings — all within a supportive, collaborative team.
This position offers a split between Pediatric and Inpatient care, providing variety in your day and the opportunity to grow across multiple areas of practice. Experienced PTs and new graduates are encouraged to apply!

- Pediatric Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
- Provide family-centered care and caregiver education
- Support developmental progress across a variety of diagnoses
- Opportunities to assist with NICU and developmental care
- Provide acute care rehabilitation services in a hospital setting
- Evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility and functional outcomes
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- General Responsibilities:
- Review patient information and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Other duties as assigned
- A Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Outpatient physical therapy experience
- The ability to stand or sit throughout the entire assigned shift, and walk for extended periods
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
