The Patient Financial Advocates are patient facing. This position generates revenue by handling high volumes of patient calls and providing telephonic customer service with basic knowledge of all areas of Revenue Cycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide support with billing, patient payments, patient inquires
Processing assistance applications
Helping get insurance coverage and resolving patient issues
Help patients apply for Medicaid and special Medicaid programs. The team processed over 700 Medicaid applications last month, 755 financial assistance applications and collected approx. $127,000

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED
1+ years of experience accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across multiple systems ensuring attention to detail
1+ years of professional experience in administrative support, customer service, healthcare operations, or related support roles
Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30am - 5pm
Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends or holidays as needed
Must be 18 years of age OR older

The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
