EDO - Specialist- Mid Level​/GIS Coordination Support Specialist

Program & Administrative Support

• Assist in the implementation of coordination initiatives, policies, and strategies
• Provide administrative support to multiple committees and working groups
• Support planning, development, and evaluation of program activities
• Prepare meeting materials, maintain records, and document minutes

• Develop, update, and manage geospatial datasets
• Perform data compilation, validation, and quality assurance checks
• Automate data processing and updates using scripting or automation tools
• Design and maintain GIS-based applications and web content

• Create and manage online GIS applications and web content using tools such as:
  • ArcGIS Pro
  • ArcGIS Online
  • Experience Builder
  • Story Maps
  • Survey

• Design and update web pages and digital resources for working groups
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions

• Research and evaluate technical solutions for GIS-related initiatives
• Analyze data from various sources and present findings
• Recommend implementation approaches for geospatial solutions

• Develop high-quality documentation including:
  • Technical reports
  • Meeting summaries and minutes
  • Framework dataset schemas
  • Charters and policy documents

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates and present options and solutions to teams and working groups

• Strong experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online tools
• Proficiency in Experience Builder, Story Maps, Survey
  123, and related GIS applications
• Experience with geospatial data management and quality assurance
• Ability to automate data processes using scripting or similar tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
