Plant General Manager

This is a full-time onsite role for a Plant General Manager, based in Henderson, KY. The Plant General Manager, reporting directly to the President, will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient and profitable operation that will produce top quality steel wire. This highly visible, impactful role will lead multiple direct and indirect reports within a 24/7 operation. Key duties will include strategic planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating the entire efforts of the manufacturing facility while maintaining a safety valued, team based environment.

Additionally, the Plant General Manager will be tasked with identifying areas for improvement, leading strategic initiatives, and collaborating with other departments to drive operational success.

• College Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
• Ten (10) plus years management experience in a manufacturing setting
• Cold drawn steel wire experience preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Extensive team building and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of quality and safety systems, ISO 9001 preferred
• Proven efforts in change management and performance execution
• Ability to display self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility and proactivity
• Logical, organized approach to enable the entire day to day operation to run smoothly, strong time management and multi tasking abilities.
