Job Description

PROCESS ENGINEER – MACHINING

Drive Improvement. Own the Process. Make an Impact.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Process Engineer to support and improve our casting and machining operations. In this role, you’ll take the lead on solving real production challenges—reducing scrap, improving uptime, and optimizing processes that directly impact quality and performance. If you enjoy digging into data, solving problems at the root cause, and seeing your ideas implemented on the floor, this is a great opportunity to make a measurable difference.

What

You’ll Do
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, increase uptime, and improve cycle times.
  • Identify and solve manufacturing issues using root cause analysis and structured problem‑solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Optimize casting and machining processes, including process parameters and quality standards.
  • Partner with Quality to resolve customer issues and implement engineering changes.
  • Support new product launches, including process development, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Train and coach team members on best practices and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in machining, die casting, foundry, or manufacturing.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machining (G‑code, M‑codes, speeds & feeds).
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into practical process improvements.
Why Join Us?
  • High-impact role with visible results on the production floor.
  • Opportunity to lead improvements and influence operations.
  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams.
  • Environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Safety & Compliance
  • We’re committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and high-quality work environment.
  • This role follows all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Additional Information
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
