- Create and maintain quality documentation and work instructions.
- Train team members on inspection methods, gauging, and quality standards.
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis (5 Why, cause & effect, defect recreation).
- Perform layered audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Stop production when necessary to protect the customer.
- High school diploma (required).
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and inspection standards.
- Experience with measurement tools and gauging techniques.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to coach and support others.
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) is a plus.
- Fast‑paced, hands‑on role on the production floor.
- Opportunity to make real‑time decisions that impact quality and customers.
- Overtime and weekend work as needed.
- A team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Hands‑on role in a hot manufacturing environment requiring standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working with tools and machinery.
- Safety is a top priority, and proper PPE is always required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
