Production Operator

• Perform daily operations in the assigned area, delivering high-quality products safely and efficiently
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment and safe work practices by observing EHS rules, including the 5S standard
• Assist the team in achieving production targets and eliminating bottlenecks across charting, melting, casting, homogenizing, sawing, packing, and loading processes
• Rotate periodically through all team roles
• Perform routine minor equipment maintenance
• Assist maintenance technicians and others with heavier maintenance when needed
• Participate actively in process improvement activities
• Perform required quality checks and comply with quality requirements to improve quality and customer satisfaction
• Follow production SOPs and assist in updating and improving them

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Knowledge of the casting process and molten metal background is desirable
• Minimum of two years stable work experience in an industrial environment is required
• Good communication skills and willingness to work on a diverse, cooperative team
• Willingness to work a rapid rotation swing shift on an EOWEO (every other weekend off) schedule
• Excellent attendance record in previous positions
• Ability to work on the plant floor with substantial heat and loud noises, and occasional fumes and airborne particles
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb equipment and stairs, and use various hand tools

Demonstrates expertise in the casting process and molten metal operations while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team to achieve production targets and improve processes.
