Position Overview

Apex Skin is a physician-led and rapidly growing dermatology practice committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking a talented and motivated Community Engagement Coordinator to support our marketing and business development efforts through community outreach, relationship building, event coordination, and local market engagement.

This role includes identifying community engagement opportunities, coordinating events and spot check initiatives, building relationships with local organizations and partners, maintaining outreach pipelines, representing Apex Skin in the community, and tracking event outcomes and market insights. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, relationship-building ability, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

• Full-time position with regular travel throughout assigned markets.
• Flexibility to support occasional community events outside traditional business hours.

Essential Functions

• Proactively research, identify, and pursue community engagement, marketing, and partnership opportunities aligned with organizational growth priorities.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective community events, partnerships, employer relationships, educational programs, spot check opportunities, and grassroots marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with chambers of commerce, employers, schools and universities, libraries, senior communities, municipalities, civic organizations, nonprofits, health and wellness organizations, local businesses, and other community partners.
• Conduct proactive outreach to introduce Apex Skin, identify areas of mutual interest, and develop long-term partnerships rather than one-time event interactions.
• Represent Apex Skin professionally at community events, networking opportunities, health fairs, chamber events, educational programs, and other external activities.
• Identify opportunities for sponsor ships, speaking engagements, educational programs, health and wellness initiatives, cross-promotions, employer partnerships, patient education, and brand activations.
• Evaluate community opportunities based on audience, market relevance, potential impact, organizational priorities, cost, and measurable return.
• Coordinate approved community initiatives from initial outreach and planning through execution, follow-up, and reporting.
