NDT Technician

Role Description The NDT Technician role at Exolios Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Ohio, OH. The technician will perform non-destructive testing activities using methods such as eddy current, ultrasonics, and visual inspection to evaluate materials, components, and structures without causing damage. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing test setups, conducting inspections according to established procedures and standards, documenting findings, and reporting results to engineering and quality teams.

The NDT Technician will work closely with quality control personnel to identify defects, assess corrosion, and support corrective actions to maintain safety and reliability. The role also involves maintaining equipment, following safety protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement in inspection processes.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in non-destructive testing methods such as Eddy Current and Ultrasonics, with the ability to apply the appropriate technique for different materials and components.
• Experience in Inspection activities, including visual and instrument-based inspections, with strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including adherence to industry standards, test procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of Corrosion mechanisms and the ability to identify and assess corrosion-related defects in materials and structures.
• Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., ASNT Level I/II or equivalent) and prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following all site-specific and regulatory safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in a related field is beneficial.
