Altria Group Distribution Company is seeking a qualified Sales Manager to join our Field Sales Force. The role involves managing an assigned sales territory with an average $15 million in annual revenue and approximately 130 retail accounts in a non‑commission environment.
Responsibilities- Handle sales and distribution within the assigned geography, including merchandising as needed.
- Sell company initiatives to retail partners, including promotions, new brands, inventory management and pricing strategies.
- Consult, advise and engage with retail partners on category management and business analytics to improve performance.
- Develop innovative ways to improve business performance through data analysis, brand marketing, product placement and purposeful planning.
- Track, measure and analyze progress against key marketing initiatives and other business metrics.
- Grow leadership capability through ongoing comprehensive training and high‑impact experiences.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or substantial sales experience.
- Ability to build sales plans and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to influence business partners.
- Team collaboration and account relationship development.
- Analytical skills to evaluate market opportunities.
- Creative problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
- Commitment to individual growth and leadership development.
Competitive salary range of $72,900–$103,900 annually with an annual incentive compensation target.
