This is a sales-dominant opportunity for someone who enjoys professional customer conversations, identifying coverage opportunities, and helping prospective and existing customers make informed decisions. The role is focused on quoting, presenting options, following up consistently, and contributing to measurable agency growth.
Role SnapshotAs a Multiline Representative, you will work with customers across multiple lines of insurance, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health products. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate coverage options, and helping turn conversations into new business and account growth. This position is designed for someone who is comfortable initiating contact, managing follow‑up, discussing coverage options, and working toward sales goals.
Customer relationships are important in this role, but sales activity, production, and results are the primary focus.
This position offers base pay plus commission, giving sales professionals the opportunity to grow their income based on performance, production, and results.
Licensing Requirement — Job ContingentThis position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.
- Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date. Full licensing support is provided.
- Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of your start date.
- We provide licensing guidance, study resources, and onboarding support throughout the process.
- Engage with prospective and existing customers through phone calls, emails, follow‑ups, and community outreach.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound follow‑up, referral conversations, and marketing activity.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products across multiple lines.
- Quote, present, and discuss coverage options with confidence and professionalism.
- Cross‑sell and upsell available products based on customer needs and agency goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to support retention, referrals, and account growth.
- Track sales activity, manage follow‑up tasks, and report progress toward established objectives.
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote agency growth within the community.
- Maintain accurate records and follow office and insurance industry procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall agency production goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A goal‑oriented approach to sales and customer conversations.
- Comfort initiating contact with prospective and existing customers.
- Ability to discuss coverage options, ask for the business, and follow up consistently.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, marketing, business support, or insurance is preferred.
- Availability to work full‑time in office (Henderson, KY).
