Huth Companies is seeking a dependable part-time Property Maintenance and Carpentry Assistant to help maintain our commercial properties in Copley, Ohio. This is a hands-on position working alongside our property maintenance staff.

Responsibilities may include basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, trim installation, door and hardware repairs, minor building repairs, cleanup, material handling, and other general property-maintenance duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current career-technical student, recent graduate, or entry-level worker who wants to develop practical carpentry and building-maintenance experience.

The employee must have reliable transportation and be willing to use their own truck to travel between work areas on the property. Applicants should also have basic hand tools appropriate for the position.

Because this position involves independent driving and the use of certain tools and equipment, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Basic knowledge of carpentry, construction, or property maintenance is preferred but not required. Applicants should be dependable, able to follow instructions, comfortable using basic hand and power tools, and capable of performing physical work such as lifting materials, climbing ladders, bending, and working indoors or outdoors. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and basic hand tools are required.

Part-time, with the possibility of additional hours depending on workload and experience.

Approximately 20–25 hours per week, primarily during regular weekday business hours. The exact schedule can be discussed and may offer some flexibility.

$18–$22 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, tools, and qualifications. This is currently a part-time position without traditional benefits.
