Utilizes and shares personal experience as a recipient of mental health services to benefit theteam and its participants. Serves as a fully integrated team member to provide expertise aboutthe recovery process, symptom management and the persistence required by participants.
- Provides peer counseling and consultation to participants, families and team staff.
- Acts as aliaison with community resources.
- Carries out rehabilitation and support functions.
- Assistsin treatment, education, support and consultation to families.
- Participates in the In Reach Program with the coordinator at various personal care homes.
