C.R. Jackson is hiring a Liquid AC Tanker Operator to support our asphalt operations in Jefferson, SC
. In this role, you will safely transport liquid asphalt cement (AC) to our plants and job sites. This position is responsible for operating a Liquid AC Tanker truck to transport liquid asphalt cement, as well as being cross-trained to haul loads in a Dump Truck or End
- Dump Tractor-Trailer when liquid ac is not available. The ideal candidate takes pride in safe driving, quality work, and being a reliable member of the construction team.

· Safely operate a liquid AC tanker to transport materials

· Load and unload liquid AC following all safety procedures

· Complete pre- and post-trip inspections

· Follow all DOT regulations and company safety requirements

· Communicate with dispatch, plant personnel, and job site crews

· Keep the truck clean and report maintenance issues

· Complete required paperwork and load documentation

· Haul dump truck or end-dump tractor-trailer loads when liquid AC loads are not available

· Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

· Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license required

Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required

Must have a valid TWIC card

• 3+ years of CDL verifiable driving experience
• NO AUTOMATIC RESTRICTION on license. Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Willingness to be cross-trained and operate a Dump Truck and/or End Dump Tractor-Trailer when needed
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekend as required
