Senior Accounts Receivable Billing & Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Billing & Collections Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare organization in Henderson, Nevada. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes and collections while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounts receivable and a deep understanding of billing and collections procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner, ensuring all billing details are correctly documented.

- Oversee the collection of outstanding payments, maintaining clear communication with clients to resolve disputes and secure timely payments.

- Monitor accounts receivable balances and implement strategies to address overdue accounts.

- Reconcile payment discrepancies and apply cash receipts accurately to corresponding accounts.

- Collaborate with internal teams to handle billing adjustments and resolve client inquiries.

- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable performance to support financial planning and decision-making.

- Analyze and improve billing and collections processes to enhance operational efficiency.

- Maintain detailed and organized records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations during all billing and collections activities. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, and collections.

- Strong knowledge of commercial collections processes and best practices.

- Proficiency in cash applications and payment reconciliation.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally.

- Proven ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies.

- Familiarity with accounting software and systems.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
