Role Overview
The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and fluid flushes. Working alongside ASE Certified Technicians, this role provides training for career advancement to become a certified ASE Automotive Technician.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport customers and parts using company vehicles.
- Conduct basic vehicle services, including oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, and rotations.
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify safety or repair needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and customer areas.
- Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
- Valid driver's license and minimum 18 years of age.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
The role involves exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures. Candidates must stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 70 pounds, and have good vision and hand dexterity. Accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
