Role Overview: The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and flushes. Working alongside ASE Certified Technicians, this role provides training for career advancement to become a certified ASE Automotive Technician.
Key Responsibilities- Transport customers and parts safely using the company vehicle.
- Operate vehicles following safety and traffic laws.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, tire mounting, oil changes, and basic services.
- Identify vehicle issues and document conditions using inspection protocols.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and adhere to safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and being at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday.
The role involves exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials, with physical activities including standing, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and operating in varying temperatures. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
