Business Design Lead

ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. We are seeking experienced Business Design Leads to join our Transformation Office on a 24‑month fixed‑term contract. With significant growth underway, multiple opportunities will be available as we expand our portfolio of enterprise transformation initiatives.

This role is ideal for a Senior Business Analyst or Business Designer withdemonstratedleadership capability and experience working across corporate process improvement, workforce systems, HRIS upgrades, finance, production, and enterprise level service design.

• Lead business design activities including business cases, process maps, requirement sand user stories.
• Translate business problems into clear, actionable design solutions.
• Coordinate and support 2–3 business analysts/super users.
• Engage stakeholders across production,corporate, workforce, ICT,finance and HR.
• Facilitate workshops,interview sand co-design sessions.
• Work with vendors and technical teams to support business-focused design and implementation.
• Operate in achangeheavy transformation environment.

• Senior Business Analyst or Business Design Lead experience.
• Strong stakeholder management capability.
• Experience leading junior BAs (2–3 direct reports).
• Background in transformation, processdesignor service design.
• Experience running discovery workshops and defining requirements.
• Ability to work across service-based and corporate process programs.
• Experience in complex, multi-program environments.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security  Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining andmaintainingsuch clearance.
