Overview
The Senior Procurement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing purchasing operations, vendor relationships, inventory coordination, and procurement processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role works closely with internal departments, suppliers, and management to support company operations while maintaining quality, compliance, and budget expectations.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage daily purchasing activities and procurement requests
- Source vendors, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Review and process purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies and equipment
- Track orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment
- Work with operations, finance, and leadership teams to support purchasing needs
- Analyze pricing trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor agreements
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and procurement reporting
- Resolve vendor issues, discrepancies, and delivery concerns in a timely manner
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
- 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with ERP systems, procurement software, or inventory management tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in hospitality, SaaS, technology, or operations environments
- Knowledge of inventory tracking and logistics coordination
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
