Overall Purpose
The Market MRA Analyst works closely with vendor partners, health plans and the designated market team to build member‑level insights that inform strategic market interventions. This position requires someone who is adept at problem solving, sees the big picture, and can communicate effectively with internal and external constituents.
Essential Functions- Dashboard Development & Maintenance
- Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy of the data presented.
- Continue evolving dashboard development both externally and internally.
- Continuously monitor dashboards for the assigned market to identify insights for performance improvement.
- Strategic Initiative Guidance
- Respond to requests for analysis and provide analytic support to Market Leaders.
- Work with vendors and markets to approve and manage target lists for Chart Reviews.
- Monitor the Prospective program’s performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Market teams and MRA leadership to identify strategies for implementing In‑Home Assessment initiatives.
- Identify provider education opportunities based on coding results, queries, prospective performance and/or prevalence.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Strong communication and written skills, and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of the provider‑based healthcare industry, claims processing, provider billing, or Risk Adjustment/Medicare Advantage strongly preferred.
- Self‑motivated, creative problem solver who can work independently, sees the bigger picture, and collaborates through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project‑management experience and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- At least 5 years of previous work experience within risk adjustment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Periodic travel to Corporate Headquarters.
- Ad hoc travel to Markets or other partner locations.
