Overview
As an Assistant General Manager, you will provide support to the General Manager, assisting homeowners and handling administrative duties to ensure exceptional services and solutions that enhance the value of the property and the lifestyle of the residents.
Compensation$60,000–$70,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and specific job responsibilities.
Essential Duties- Assist the General Manager in addressing resident inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
- Collaborate with the community manager and board of directors to manage the community's business affairs.
- Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and applicable laws.
- Coordinate and supervise community maintenance activities, including inspections, repair requests, and preventive maintenance.
- Assist in managing vendor contracts and services, ensuring compliance and quality of work.
- Support the preparation and management of the community's annual budget, financial statements, and reporting to the Board.
- Participate in planning, organizing, and facilitating Board meetings and annual membership meetings.
- Contribute to fostering a sense of community and enhancing resident satisfaction through social events, programs, and activities.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and community‑related data.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to community management.
- Assist with establishing and maintaining a community calendar indicating all association activities.
- 2+ years of customer service experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- CAM certification preferred.
- Manages three active committees (ARC, Covenants, Community Standards) and supervises five front‑desk staff members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and vendors.
- Excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Proactive mindset; able to identify and address issues before they arise.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Able to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.
