Job OverviewThe Inventory Control Specialist primary duties are to maintain the company’s inventory, pricing agreements, running reports, and transferring product between locations to fulfill purchase agreement.
Reports toChief Financial Officer
Responsibilities include- Create and maintain cost purchase agreements
- Update retail pricing and discounts as needed
- Enter new items into system
- Maintain and correct current skus
- Create and maintain scan agreements
- Create and maintain monthly purchase agreements
- Participate in monthly buy meetings with vendors
- Run reports and push products out to stores to ensure purchase agreements are fulfilled
- Create purchase orders and transfers as needed
- Maintain weekly sales report
- Assist stores with any receiving issues
Other duties as assigned
- Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well while meeting deadlines
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
- Ability to develop professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Able to use Microsoft applications; proficient Excel skills required
- Organized and detail-oriented
