Construction Manager (Site Services)
We are seeking a Construction Manager (Site Services) to join our team in Reno, NV. This role will act as Site Services Superintendent, providing field-level leadership for site-wide services that support safe, continuous, and efficient construction operations. Must have prior experience with mining-related construction work in an onsite role. This position is eligible for a 3:1 rotation schedule, which includes a mobility package to cover lodging, per diem, and some travel to home location.
YourRole
- Acts as owner's representative for construction projects.
- Provides technical review of material submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documents.
- Manage day-to-day field coordination for site-wide services, including contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and support crews.
- Coordinate and monitor safety, quality, productivity, and performance to ensure services are delivered in accordance with contract scope, project requirements, and scheduled milestones.
- Oversee contractor deployment and subcontractor use for waste disposal, water delivery, cleaning, fueling, fencing, sanitation, temporary power, and other site support activities.
- Ensure service activities comply with applicable environmental requirements, MSHA requirements, project procedures, and approved work methodologies.
- Track service needs, usage frequency, delivery methods, and field constraints to maintain continuity of construction operations.
- Support package development, procurement planning, contractor readiness, scope clarification, and field assessments for services, buildings, and truck shop scopes.
- Work with the Contracts Administrator to identify, document, quantify, and support approval of changes related to assigned services packages.
- Proactively coordinate with the General Superintendent, discipline superintendents, environmental staff, safety staff, contracts team, and construction management team to resolve interface issues.
- Monitor contractor health and safety performance and escalate non-compliant conditions, schedule risks, or operational concerns promptly.
- Oversees compilation of project closeout documents.
- Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and seven years' experience, including personnel supervision.
- With Associate degree, fifteen years of experience. Without a degree, seventeen years related experience is required.
- Experience in Construction Management of mining projects is required.
- MSHA certification required, or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
- Ability to supervise internal staff, contractors, external field representatives, and field office personnel.
- Leadership and managerial skills.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Very strong communication skills and computer software skills.
- Field problem-solving and practical judgment.

Expected compensation range is between $120,000 - $135,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
