Project Captain

Role Description

The Project Job Captain is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Henderson, NV. This position coordinates day‑to‑day project activities, including developing design documentation, preparing construction documents, and supporting the project team through all phases of design and delivery. The Project Job Captain will assist with code research, coordinate with consultants, ensure project details meet quality standards, and help manage schedules and deliverables.

Responsibilities also include supporting client presentations, incorporating feedback into drawings and specifications, and collaborating closely with architects, designers, and other team members to maintain design intent and project efficiency.

• Proficiency in architectural design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong skills in project coordination, scheduling, and collaboration with consultants and internal team members.
• Ability to perform code research, interpret building regulations, and integrate requirements into project documentation.
• Experience preparing construction documents, details, and specifications for commercial, residential, or mixed‑use projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; progress toward professional licensure is a plus.
• Solid communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable design, community‑focused projects, and integration of modern technology in architecture.
• Previous experience as a Job Captain, Project Coordinator, or similar architectural role is strongly preferred.
