Position: Student Worker - School of Education - Teacher Academy Pipeline Project (SoE-TAPP)
## Student Worker - School of Education - Teacher Academy Pipeline Project (SoE-TAPP)
* Assist with planning and execution of TAPP special events for high school students accessing careers in education.
* Work with the TAPP Associate Director in preparing programming for TAPP High School students.
* Co-create and co-design TAPP lessons using scientific research to support the project.
* Collaborate with and serve as a campus liaison between student organizations, staff, and faculty to identify student needs.
* Attend trainings, conferences, and professional development opportunities to gain additional expertise, skills, and knowledge related to relevant topics and have opportunities to present outcomes.
* Work with the marketing team to create, post, and promote programming via social media.
* Facilitate School of Education’s social media and promotional campaigns, announcing workshops, additional resources, services, activities and training.
* Design flyers and promotional materials for recruitment efforts.
* Serve as frontline assistant for the Dean’s Office and TAPP Associate Director.
* Assist with office support, including creating and editing Word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
* Represent self and the office with a high degree of professionalism engaging in leadership of peers.
* Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with supervisor to discuss job responsibilities, development of programing topics, and feedback for growth.
* Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher (undergraduate) or 3.0 or higher (graduate).
* Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits (undergraduate) or 5 credits (graduate) in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office programs, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Attention to detail.
* Be able to work in an environment of client confidentiality and respect.
* Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).

*** Be studying in the field of education, bilingual education, special education, school psychology, speech-language pathology, psychology.
* Bilingual skills - English/Spanish;
English/Tagalog.
