A school district in Henderson, NV, is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to support students' academic and emotional well-being. This role involves direct collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and support students facing learning and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational assessments and interpret data to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to create and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student success and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Travel between school sites within the district to offer services where needed.
Qualifications
  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license appropriate to the state of Nevada.
  • Experience in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of educational laws, special education procedures, and mental health issues related to children and adolescents.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced educational environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school locations as required.
