K-12 Assistant Principal – Tonopah Schools

169.6 days per year, 10.0 hours per day

Funding Source:
General Fund

Salary Range: $98,640 – $137,089

One Year Only, Position ends September 30, 2026

Job Goal

Assist with planning, organizing, administering, and directing all activities and functions at the Elementary/Middle/Junior High/High School level, which are essential to the operation of a responsible, effective, and efficient instructional environment to provide maximum opportunity for student growth.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in subjects related to administrative assignment.
  • Valid Nevada Department of Education Administrative and Teaching license with endorsement(s) related to administrative assignment.
  • Successful administrative experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years classroom teaching experience in a school system.
  • Valid Nevada Driver's License.

This position is to begin the  school year. Successful candidate must complete a thorough background check and pass mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
