Part Time Instructor – Communication
Nevada State University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach in‑person Communication courses on an as‑needed basis. Courses range from 3 to 6 credit hours, and adjunct faculty are paid $1,000 per credit hour.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned Communication courses in a face‑to‑face format.
- Develop and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental standards.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff across departments to support student success and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Master's degree in Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a closely related field.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to educational excellence and mentoring undergraduate students.
