Tenure-Track Position; in School Psychology; Ed.S

Full Time Tenure‑Track Position (Open Rank) in School Psychology (Ed.S.)

The School Psychology (Ed.S.) program invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track position at the Open Rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor). Faculty will teach graduate‑level courses in School Psychology, advise students, and engage in research and professional service.

• Teach 24 graduate credits per academic year in line with NASP accreditation requirements.
• Assist with curriculum development, program assessment, and clinical partnership nurturing.
• Assist with preparation of NASP accreditation documentation, processes, and activities.
• Assist with recruitment and retention of students.
• Advise and mentor students in academic and professional development.
• Engage in service to the school, college, and profession at the local, state, and national level.
• Collaborate with others to apply for and secure external funding for program development and growth.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the school psychology graduate program.
• Demonstrate dedication to working with diverse and first‑generation student populations.
• Program Director opportunity may be considered for candidates at the Associate or Professor level.

• Hold qualifications equivalent to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor as reviewed by the Promotion and Tenure Committee.
• Hold a doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., Psy.
  
  D.) in School Psychology or a closely related field; preference for a School Psychology doctorate.
• Demonstrate a record of research, scholarly, and/or creative productivity in school psychology (for Associate or Professor candidates).
• Hold a school psychology license or have the potential to obtain a Nevada Department of Education license.
• Have 3–5 years of experience working as a school psychologist in the PK‑12 setting or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Hold credential as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
• Demonstrate effective teaching in higher education using a variety of methodologies.
• Experience supporting PK‑12 schools with Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support.
• Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
• Evidence of service to the profession, campus, and/or community.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Knowledge and expertise in assessment, ethics and law, special education, consultation, and individual and group counseling.

9‑month. Tenure Track. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include a 19.25% retirement match, an initial balance of 30 sick leave days, 12 paid holidays, educational benefits, and three health insurance plans with options for flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts.
