Job Description
Nevada State University is inviting applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in‑person courses in cinematography and photography. Adjunct faculty will teach typical 3‑credit courses and are compensated at $1,000 per credit hour. Courses are scheduled as needed based on department requirements.
CompensationAdjunct faculty are compensated at $1,000 per credit hour.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in film production, cinematography, photography, or a closely related field.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Previous production experience.
- Familiarity with Canon T‑series and R‑series cameras, and/or Blackmagic cameras.
