Part-Time Lower Elementary Support Teacher

Foothills Montessori School, an AMS Verified School, is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Lower Elementary Support Teacher to join our teaching team for the 2026–2027 school year.
This position supports students and teachers within our Lower Elementary program and is ideal for an educator who is passionate about authentic Montessori education, values teamwork, and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Schedule- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Less than 30 hours per week
- Opportunity for additional hours and growth within the school
- AMS Montessori Elementary Credential required
- Montessori classroom experience preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team
- Patient, kind, flexible, and nurturing approach with children
- Support the implementation of an authentic Montessori Lower Elementary program
- Work collaboratively with credentialed Montessori teachers to meet the needs of students
- Provide individual and small-group academic support as needed
- Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and maintenance of the prepared environment
- Foster independence, concentration, and respectful classroom behavior
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Support the school's mission and commitment to Montessori best practices
