Position: Permanent Substitute

We are looking for a Permanent Substitute Teacher to serve across diverse subjects such as Spalding reading and writing, science, social studies and en Vision math.

Responsibilities
  • Create a classroom and safe environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students and allows them to perform at their very best.
  • Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through a variety of activities designed to promote social, physical and intellectual growth needed for primary school success.
  • Explore individual needs and give side‑by‑side support to discover how each student learns best and develop personalized solutions for each student’s learning style and abilities.
  • Master our proven curriculum and implement our philosophy of education to guide learning and help students achieve curriculum goals using best practices and teaching strategies.
  • Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior, good character, and social skills in the classroom, on campus, and throughout their lives.
  • Evaluate and celebrate student academic performance, share progress with parents/guardians, and ensure support staff are set up for success.
Qualifications
  • Holding a bachelor’s degree.
  • Preferred a current teaching certificate from the state where the position is located.
  • Pass a criminal history background check.
  • Creating positive, powerful energy that fuels our school spirit and demonstrates integrity and compassion.
  • Being active in the role when lifting, sitting, standing, moving throughout campus and traveling to other campuses as required.
  • Depending on the state, background check requirements may vary (state and national criminal history background check).
