Part Time Instructor

Nevada State University invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person, online, or hybrid courses in Elementary Education. Applications will be considered on an as‑needed basis determined by course availability. Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Courses range from 1–3 credits.
Required Qualifications- Master's Degree in Elementary Education or Education.
- Minimum of three years of full‑time experience teaching children in K–12.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
- Commitment to active learning and teaching strategies.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment‑related visas).
- Doctorate in Elementary Education or Education.
- Previous teaching experience with undergraduate students.
- Relevant experience in K‑12 settings.
- Experience in web‑based coursework.
- Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
