Part Time Instructor – Anatomy and Physiology

Neva nd State University invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty to teach in‑person courses in Anatomy and Physiology, such as BIOL 223 Human Anatomy and Physiology I and BIOL 224 Human Anatomy and Physiology II.

Compensation

Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,160 per credit hour for lectures and $2,000 per credit hour for labs. Lectures are 3 credit hours and labs are 1 credit hour. Courses are offered on an as‑needed basis determined by course availability.

Required Qualifications
  • MS/MPH or terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D.) with a strong physiology background at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, educational excellence, and mentoring undergraduate students.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a diverse, non‑traditional, first‑generation student population.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Anatomy or Physiology.
  • Terminal degrees:
    Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), Chiropractor (DC), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
  • Demonstrated commitment to active learning and innovative teaching.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Evidence of instructional effectiveness at the college/university level.
