Job Title: Campus Monitor
Reports to: Campus Principal
Location: In-Person, CASLV Cadence Campus – Henderson NV
Position Type: Full-Time, 10-Month )
Position Summary:
The Campus Monitor supports a safe, respectful, and orderly school environment by monitoring student behavior and supervising school grounds during non-instructional times. This position plays a critical role in promoting positive student conduct, ensuring compliance with school rules, and deterring inappropriate behavior on campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervision & Safety- Monitor hallways, cafeterias, playgrounds, restrooms, and school grounds during arrival, lunch, recess, and dismissal.
- Ensure the safety and security of students and report any suspicious or unsafe behavior.
- Enforce school policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
- Support emergency procedures including fire drills, lockdowns, and evacuations.
- Build positive relationships with students to promote respectful and responsible behavior.
- De-escalate conflicts and refer students to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Report behavioral incidents to school administrators and assist in documentation when required.
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals are on school grounds.
- Assist with visitor management and maintain a visible and approachable presence.
- Provide support during school events, transitions, and transportation (e.g., loading zones).
- Work closely with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to address student needs.
- Attend staff meetings or trainings related to campus safety and student supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interact positively and respectfully with students, staff, and parents.
- Must pass background check and obtain any required school safety certifications.
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with youth supervision.
- Bilingual in English and another language spoken by the student population is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Calm and assertive demeanor under pressure.
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to details.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
This is a full-time, in-person position based at a CASLV school campus. Requires frequent outdoor activity and walking/standing for extended periods.

Salary: $28,000 to $34,800 Per Year
