** Job Description
** Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Student Life. The Coordinator of Student Life will work to serve a rapidly growing student population by implementing best practices and professionalizing student activities and involvement opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate with and support student government, clubs and organizations, campus recreation, and other campus departments. This collaboration and support include assisting with event planning, providing advisement and mentorship to student leaders, and serving on working committees for various campus-wide, student-focused initiatives/events.

The primary responsibility of the Coordinator of Student Life will be to continue to increase involvement opportunities while maintaining and retaining current engagement processes for Nevada State University students. This responsibility is achieved, in part, by creating and providing training and resources for current student organizations as well as working to assist in the process of creating new student organizations. This position will support the Associate Director of Student Life in all campus activities and student development initiatives within the office.
