Part-Time Philosophy Instructor
CSN is looking to hire part-time instructors to teach Philosophy courses (mostly PHIL 102, Introduction to Critical Thinking). Job responsibilities include course development, developing syllabi and course materials, as well as evaluation/assessment of mastery of skills and competencies as required by course outcomes. Successful candidates are expected to provide an excellent teaching experience, engage in student advisement and participate in assessment of General Education (Institutional), Program, and Course outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Philosophy (Ph.D. preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (also from a regionally accredited college or university).
Salary
$925.00 per credit hour. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester.
