Part - Time Instructor, Water​/Wastewater Treatment - FY

Responsibilities

• Lecture and lab instruction for Water/Wastewater Treatment courses.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide advisement to students.
• Develop syllabi and course materials.
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested.

• 5 years of Water/Wastewater Treatment experience, or an Applied Science degree in Water/Wastewater Treatment from an accredited college/university or equivalent degree.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Wastewater Treatment or equivalent.
• Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce.
• Knowledge of computer classroom technologies.
• Knowledge of Canvas or other learning management systems.

Schedule:

Courses are generally taught at the Henderson Campus, in‑person or online, during the day and evenings.
Salary: $925.00 per lecture credit hour (credits vary by semester). Full‑Time Equivalent: 47.5%. Exempt position.
