Aviation Instructor (Part-Time)

We seek a qualified Aviation Instructor to join our team at the CSN Henderson Campus A Building. This part‑time position involves delivering lecture and lab instruction for aviation courses.

• Lecture and lab instruction for Aviation Courses
• Develop lesson plans and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Provide advisement to students
• Participate in program or curriculum development as requested
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested

• FAA‑issued Certificate Instructor (II), OR FAA‑issued Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and Instrument Ground Instructor
• OR aviation industry professionals with extensive experience in aerodynamics, advanced aircraft systems, crew resource management, airport management, airline operations, or cabin service

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Science, Aeronautical Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems

Instruction is scheduled during the day or evenings, in‑person at the CSN Henderson Campus. Salary is $925.00 per lecture credit hour; credits will vary by semester. The role is 48.8% Full‑Time Equivalent and is exempt.
