Core Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for lab operations of scheduled and open Welding Technologies Labs.
- Support instructors and students with operation of specialized equipment during labs.
- Perform maintenance on specialized lab equipment.
- Assist in ensuring labs are prepared and have proper inventories for classes.
- Assist the instructor in planning and preparing labs in conjunction with full‑time faculty.
- Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW and PAC machines.
- Proficient with an Oxy‑fuel system and related welding tools.
- Experience verifying proper equipment operation and performing equipment maintenance.
- AAS Degree in Welding Technologies.
- Significant work experience in welding technology.
Hourly pay: $17.00. Tentative schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 8:00PM. Exempt. Full‑time equivalent: 48.8%.
