** Job Description
** Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Student Worker - Student Ambassador in the Admissions & Recruitment office. The student worker will provide prospective students, parents, and visitors exceptional customer service, assisting them with general inquiries, campus tours, and recruitment-related activities. As a student worker, you will play an essential role in introducing prospective students to our university and creating a welcoming environment on campus.

* Core Responsibilities:

*** Greet and assist students and parents visiting the Admissions & Recruitment office.
* Lead campus tours, sharing insights about the University’s programs, campus life, and resources.
* Assist in planning and executing campus recruitment events.
* Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and emails related to admissions and recruitment inquiries.
* Scan and upload documents into the admissions database.
* Provide support on various projects and administrative tasks within the Admissions & Recruitment department.
* Contribute to social media content creation and posting.
* Offer assistance to other university departments as needed.
* Attend and table at off-campus recruitment fairs (mileage will be reimbursed).

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
* Must be enrolled as a degree seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State.
* Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Bilingual.
* Previous customer service experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
