** Job Description
** Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Student Worker - Disability Resource Center. The student worker for the Disability Resource Center (DRC) will be responsible for providing inquiring students with information regarding receiving ADA approved accommodations, writing the accommodation letters, scheduling appointments for students who take their exams in the DRC office, and proctoring exams. This position will also assist with data entry, scanning, filing, and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have a reliable work history, interpersonal and organizational skills, and be able to maintain a professional appearance. While also doing other tasks like note taking and other as assigned.
At times, the student worker may be asked to serve as the initial point of contact for the DRC Office when greeting visitors (faculty, staff, student, community member, legislation, etc).

* Guide/advise students (current and prospective) in completing DRC related electronic forms.

* Serve as a role model/mentor to new student workers and assist in their training.
